Donald was born and raised right here in Jackson with his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and even great-grandmothers. Family for Donald has always involved those to whom he is related as well as those with whom he shares life. Because of this, Donald remembers being loved on, cared for, and challenged to discover what it means to follow Christ from his family and church family of over twenty years.
At age seven, without being able to wait until the designated time in the service, Donald jumped up and ran to tell his teacher that he was ready to follow Christ. While he knew at the time exactly what he wanted to do, he had no idea how incredible the implications of this desire would ultimately be. Throughout middle and high school, Donald continued to find out more and more about what it meant to live and serve as a follower of Christ, understanding more of the implications of his decision.
Donald attended Wheaton College and later graduated from Union University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Studies. As of May 2010, Donald will complete his Master's of Social Work at Union University.
Having worked for over seven years with children and their parents at a church daycare, Donald took a job working on both the inpatient and outpatient offices at Pathways Behavioral Health working with teenagers and children along with their parents who were working to overcome very difficult problems.
In August of 2009, Donald's part time work with Fellowship as Kingdom Kid's Director and graphic arts dabbler became full time when he excitedly took on the new position of Ministry Teams Director. Having fallen in love with Fellowship in the summer of 2005 because of the church's love for and service to the community of Jackson, it is now his great privilege to assist the church by helping individuals serve from their gifts and passions for the sake of the kingdom. He is excited to see Fellowship continue to be an irresistible influence in the city and around the world.
