Becky Botter (co-leader Teresa McNatt)

Becky has been married to David for 22 years. They have five children ages 19, 17, 14, 11 and 3. They are blessed to be adding another child to their family this winter. Becky is loving every minute of her opportunity to revisit the “early years”. As a tribute to her Iowa roots, she raises horses, miniature goats and donkeys. She is passionate about furthering her education/training in the field of lactation and supporting mothers by helping them achieve their breastfeeding goals. She volunteers in lactation at the hospital. Becky’s desire to help moms stems from her own experience as a young mom needing support and encouragement.

 

Janet Brown

This will be Janet’s 3rd year serving as a small group leader. She and her husband, Tom, have been married 26 years and have three adult children and two grandchildren. Two of her children are adopted so she is active in the adoption ministries at Fellowship. Janet is a nurse and has worked in many areas including newborn nursery, pediatrics and children’s psychology. Leisure time includes walking, hiking, reading, and taking care of pets. She particularly enjoys helping women explore a deeper relationship with God.

 

Diane Hoyt

Diane has been married to Gary for 27 years and has three children ages, 33,32 and 31 and three grandchildren. Her background is in business, and she is retired from Bellsouth. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and working in the yard. Encouraging younger women is a passion for Diane and she finds great joy in being around children. She loves to help overwhelmed mothers of newborns and toddlers and has a special place in her heart for moms with blended families. Her desire is to help all young moms with the challenges of building a successful family.

 

Susan Pierson

Susan serves as the coordinator of Moms and More and as a small group leader. They have six children aged 23-9. They also have one granddaughter. Susan’s background is in education and she has worked with children in many different settings. She loves encouraging women in their relationships with God, their husbands and their children. She is passionate about parenting that reaches the heart. She especially enjoys reading, traveling and helping moms with breastfeeding.

 

Laura Tomlin

Laura has been married to Dwight for 27 years. They have two daughters ages 24 and 21, two sons ages 17 and 14 and a 3 year old grandson. She and her family have 11 pets and enjoy spending time at the Tennessee River. Laura has been a stay at home mom and was involved in children’s ministry for many years. She also enjoys reading, horseback riding, and bargain shopping. Laura feels strongly about nurturing children in their personal spiritual growth and encouraging moms with the challenges of motherhood.
