Fellowship Kids Team

The Fellowship Kids Team is made up of several different Teams that serve our children here at Fellowship. Working on the Fellowship Kids Team could involve being a greeter, working as a puppet, running the audio-visual equipment in the rooms, prepping for our teachers during the week, teaching our large group sessions, or working with smaller groups of children. Look through the different Teams that make up the Fellowship Kids Team below, and see if you're interested in serving with them. Let us know if you are, and we'll get that process started. Thanks for checking out Fellowship Kids Team.

Nursery Team

The Nursery Team has the unique, two-fold opportunity of providing a loving and secure environment for children from birth to 24 months as well as offering parents the peace of mind to participate in Sunday Worship knowing their children are safe. There are opportunities to serve with the Nursery Team during both the 9:00 and 10:30 Sunday Worship hours.

Kingdom Kids

Kingdom Kids is an extended learning program designed for children of parents who volunteer during one Sunday Worship hour and attend the other. The Kingdom Kids Team provides a fun, relaxed, and less-structured large group experience that adds to a child's overall Sunday morning Learning Center experience. The Kingdom Kids Team only serves during the 9:00 Sunday Worship hour.

Preschool Team

Each week in a safe environment, preschoolers participate in a fun and interactive biblical message with leaders that love Jesus and love them. The Preschool Team gets to instill the excitement and inviting nature of God's love for his children and world every week. Some on the team may teach the lesson, and others are support teachers. The Preschool Team serves during the 10:30 Sunday Worship hour only.

Theme Rooms Team

The Theme Rooms are innovative Learning environments with castles, boats, spaceships, and sandpits specifically designed and staffed to dramatically develop the faith of 1st through 6th grade students. There are numerous ways to volunteer with the Theme Rooms Team: small group leaders, large group leaders, actors, puppeteers, techies, and room directors. The Theme Rooms Team only serves during the 10:30 Sunday Worship hour.

The Prep Team

In an effort to help each of our volunteers spend more of their time serving the way they most enjoy, we have The Prep Team who serves weekly, but not on Sunday mornings, to help gather and prepare all the materials that will be needed in each classroom from Infants all the way through 6th grade. If you're an organizer, planner, or just enjoy hanging out with others during the week while doing something to help our Sunday morning volunteers, The Prep Team is an important way you might consider serving.

Learning Center Host Team

At Fellowship, we value taking care of each of our members and guests with precision. The Learning Center Host Team is made up of people who greet at the Registration Desks, help parents check-in their children, answer questions that visitors may have, offer security in our Learning Center, or open the doors for moms and dads whose hands are full of children as they arrive for Sunday Worship. There are opportunities to serve with the Learning Center Host Team during both the 9:00 and 10:30 Sunday Worship hours.

Substitute Team

With around 150 volunteers in the Learning Center each Sunday, there are inevitably people who are not able to serve each Sunday, leaving a classroom or volunteer position one person short. If you can't commit to a serving each week in the Learning Center due to scheduling conflicts, but would like to be used as a substitute when needed, the Substitute Team could use you.

24/7 Team

The 24/7 Club is for 5th and 6th grade students to learn about what it means to live like Jesus in the world by serving others 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students meet after school one day a month from 3:30 to 5:30 to have a Bible Study paired with a service project in the community. If you enjoy working with older kids, and have a heart for serving the community, consider helping with the 24/7 Team.

One-on-One Buddies

Our desire if for our Learning Center to be equipped to serve and love on any child no matter their special needs. We are looking to begin a One-on-One Buddy system for our children that have special needs during both the the 9:00 and 10:30 Sunday Worship hours. If you are skilled at caring for children with all kinds of special needs, consider becoming a one-on-one buddy for one of precious children.

Childcare for Other Ministries and Special Events

We often provide childcare for special events and other ministries here at Fellowship. The times available to serve in this way vary from Wednesday mornings to occasional weeknights and Sunday nights. If you are interested in being on the list to be contacted when an opportunity arises to serve in this way, make note of that in the comments section of the sign up form.
