HAND IN HAND

welcome to our special needs ministry

our mission

Hand in Hand’s mission is to grow compelling relationships with God and others by making the Gospel more accessible with every encounter at Fellowship Bible Church.

Hand in Hand is the special needs ministry of Fellowship Bible Church, serving individuals of varying ages and abilities. Our desire is for each person to participate at their level of comfort while engaging in worship and community at Fellowship.

We seek to create an inclusive environment whenever possible, while also recognizing that some individuals may feel more comfortable in a setting designed specifically for their unique needs and learning styles. Fellowship also considers each family’s preferences while remaining mindful of the safety and well-being of participants, caregivers, buddies, and volunteers as we carry out our mission.

Buddy Support

Hand in Hand offers trained buddies to assist individuals during worship services, classes, and ministry activities as needed.
To request a buddy or learn more about available support opportunities, please contact our Hand in Hand team.

Sunday Class

Hand in Hand offers a class for students and young adults that meets Sundays at 11:00 AM. For more information about the class or to learn how to get connected, please contact Grace.

BELONG NIGHT

You can volunteer to help with our Belong night. Belong meets once a month for Young Adults with Special Needs. Volunteers are asked to help any friends who may need assistance throughout the night with dinner, games, and worship. Belong typically meets the 2nd Thursday of every month.
